Teofilo is
retired. They have seven children, of which two
daughters live abroad. One daughter in England, one daughter in the
Netherlands.
To have children living abroad is not uncommon in the Philippines.
On the contrary!
Many Philippine families
have a child (or more than one) living abroad. These children, often
married with 'a foreigner', make it possible for these families to have more conveniences in the
house. The children living abroad will make it easier to
improve the construction of the house.
